Wrapping the crown around awkward angles is what I consider to be higher detail work and takes time and patience to master. Having put my time in, this is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the installation process.
I find the best way to connect two straight pieces of crown is to attach them using a 22.5 angle, this way, as opposed to a straight line, seems to aesthetically compliment the design, as well as being more surface area for the 2p-10 glue to adhere to.
